Digital Provocations

Fall Semester 2011

Adam Marcus

Course Description:
This course will investigate how digital technologies are transforming the practice of architecture. At a time when architects have a wide array of new digital tools at their disposal, there are—as in any period of rapid technological innovation—conflicting notions of how the new technology should be implemented, and to what end. This workshop, a hybrid seminar/studio, will use an array of tools to explore the possibilities and potentials and pitfalls of integrating digital processes into architecture.
