David directs the firm’s Design Assistance services for sustainable design and high performance buildings. He is a LEED® Accredited Professional with 29 years of experience in environmentally appropriate design.

Before joining The Weidt Group in 1992, Mr. Eijadi was the Director of Architecture for the Phoenix office of a Minneapolis-based firm that produced award-winning architectural and urban design projects as well as energy and lighting research for the U.S. Department of Energy, NASA, University of Minnesota, Andersen Windows, PG&E, and Battelle Pacific Northwest Laboratories. Mr. Eijadi is also a former contributor to Architectural Graphic Standards and a former peer reviewer for DOE research grants. Mr. Eijadi holds several patents in the fields of lighting and daylighting and has received numerous awards for design and innovation.
