What strengthens the discipline of architecture?
A strong foundation in the realities, tools and ethics of contemporary practice, with the additional insight and creativity to be able to re-envision the traditions and solutions of established practice. We ground our program in the foundational knowledge of building technology, construction, and materials, but expand and elevate the discourse to engage the wide range of scales, social/human dimensions, technical, and philosophical issues that comprise the role of design... embracing a future where design plays an expanding and unfamiliar role.

How can we steward the future we want?
Architecture bears responsibility to improve the built environment. As a profession whose physical product impacts environments, markets, and communities, locally and globally, we believe it is imperative to imbue the ethics and principles of sustainability within all facets of a design education... the result is a design process that engages the challenges and responsibilities of our age.

Currently, the School of Architecture offers three different graduate programs.

Master of Architecture

MS in Sustainable Design

MS in Heritage Preservation
