Professor Mary Guzowski recently presented a daylighting workshop

Professor Mary Guzowski recently presented a daylighting workshop on "Places of Light:  Louis Kahn and Renzo Piano on Daylighting and the Kimbell Art Museum" at the Society of Building Science Educator's 2015 Retreat at the Mountain Learning Center in Highlands, North Carolina.  The session explored how these two "masters of light" approached the architectural language of daylight, design and technology, and the atmospheric and experiential dimensions of program. The Kimbell Art Museum is one of twelve case studies to be included in her new book the Art of Architectural Daylighting, which is currently under development with Laurence King Publishers, London, England.
