Adjunct Assistant Professor




Tom Westbrook is an artist, teacher, designer, craftsman, and writer.  He studied Architecture, Studio Arts and Art History at the University of Minnesota, where he is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Architecture, teaching on materials and processes, humanitarian and sustainable design and architecture and film. He also teaches a visual geometry perspective classes at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Tom has written for Threshold and Quodlobitica and is working on a book about geometry and art. He practices design and fabrication as the founder of Realize Studio in Minneapolis, designing and fabricating objects from the size of a toaster to a house, and has been investigating ancient and traditional drawing, design and fabrication techniques.
