Workshop Summary

Interested in making things that think and respond?  Learn electronic prototyping skills and techniques, and implement a smart object, environment, or garment of your design. 

We have once objective for the week: design an artifact with an electronic "brain" and make it work.

Lucy Dunne, Associate Professor, Apparel Design


Dr. Lucy Dunne is an Associate Professor in the Apparel Design program at the University of Minnesota College of Design. With a background in apparel design, computer science, and electrical engineering, her research focuses on smart clothing and wearable technology. Her research has been recognized with many awards, including the National Science Foundation CAREER award and the NASA Silver Achievement Medal.
