
Curriculum
The M.S. in Architecture-Heritage Conservation and Preservation concentration requires a total of 33 credits, typically completed over one-and-a-half years. Coursework includes the following:

Elective Courses outside Architecture
(6 credits)
To complete the M.S. degree program requirement for six credits of coursework outside the field of Architecture, students may take courses in related fields such as Landscape Architecture, Geography, Art History, Anthropology, Urban Studies, Public Administration, and others. Specific courses should be selected based on the student's particular area of interest and in consultation with the director of graduate studies. Elective course offerings change annually and registration is subject to the student's ability to meet the course prerequisites.
Master's degree with thesis or without thesis -- project(s)

M.S. in Architecture-Heritage Conservation and Preservation concentration students have an option of the Plan A thesis or Plan B project(s). The director of graduate study works with students to determine the most appropriate plan based on individual research interests and goals. |
